You are warmly invited to attend our wedding in Alvor, Algarve, at Restaurante O Caniço, located at Praia dos Três Irmãos, Alvor, Faro, Portugal.
Restaurante O Caniço is located within the villa/resort, making it easy to reach once you arrive. The resort offers beautiful surroundings, swimming pools, tennis courts, and the beach is just a 5–10 minute walk away.
The nearest airport is Faro Airport (FAO), approximately a 50-minute drive from Alvor. From Faro, we recommend renting a car or taking a taxi/transfer directly to the resort area.
Logistics
Accommodation details have been shared by email—please reach out directly to the Villa Sales Manager (elisabete@prainha-ei.pt)
with the number of guests in your party, and she will do her very best to accommodate everyone.
If you prefer to book alternative accommodation nearby, you are more than welcome to do so.
The celebration will continue later in the day with a beach party. On Sunday, we’ll gather for breakfast (you’re very welcome to join us), before we head back to England later that day—so please stay around to catch up and enjoy being together.
The Wedding Day Timeline

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 PM at Atlantic Pool. Arriving a bit earlier will give you time to settle in and enjoy the surroundings.

Please be seated for for the ceremony at Atlantic Pool at 4:30pm. We would appreciate no photos or videos being taken while the ceremony is taking place.

After the ceremony, we’ll take a large group photo before the drinks reception begins. We kindly ask that immediate family stay with the couple briefly afterwards for family portraits.

Please make your way to the Atlantic Pool restaurant for dinner by 6:30pm.
The Atlantic Pool area remains open to guests and residents of Aldeamento da Prainha until 20:00. Therefore, for the ceremony and welcome drink, a section of the lawn will be reserved for you.

Our venue is located near a cliff, so for everyone’s safety we kindly ask parents to keep a close eye on little ones at all times. If possible, we recommend making childcare arrangements. If you do need to bring a baby or child, please let us know their age so we can include them in our planning.

The ceremony will take place outdoors and the wedding will be a “polished but breezy” dress code. We appreciate everyone’s efforts to dress appropriately for the warm weather.
Wedding Gifts
We are so grateful that you’ll be joining us on our special day and truly appreciate the effort you’ve made to be there for us. We do not expect any gifts.
