We’re the Jasmine Rose team, and we’re here to help you plan your wedding, enjoy your day, manage your crowds, feel comfortable in front of the camera and have an experience that feels true to you.
This proposal outlines the methods and processes we’ve developed to help you relax and enjoy every moment of your wedding day.
Our photography approach is best described as “candid with an editorial edge.” Candid photography is about anticipating moments before they happen, allowing us to document your day as authentically as possible. We observe with intuition and capture the moments that naturally unfold. Editorial photography is more controlled and directed, creating polished images with a magazine-like feel.
By combining these two styles, we tell the full story of your day while ensuring you look and feel fabulous.
Meet Mandy
Meet Mandy, one of our wonderful associate photographers. Mandy has been part of the Jasmine Rose team for two years and brings almost 20 years of experience photographing love stories. A hopeless romantic, boy mum and book lover, she has a warm, calming presence and a beautiful ability to capture people as they truly are.
Her experience has helped shape our thoughtful, people-focused approach to wedding days. She understands when to gently guide, when to step back and when a fleeting moment is worth capturing. Mandy cares deeply about creating photographs that feel joyful, timeless and full of genuine connection, while making sure every couple feels comfortable, supported and completely themselves.

A few years ago, Jasmine took a risk and left her stable career as an architectural technician to pursue photography. She wasn’t sure how she would turn it into a successful business, but she knew she could no longer stay somewhere that made her unhappy.
That experience became the foundation of the Jasmine Rose Method. We never want anyone to feel disconnected from an experience that should bring them joy, especially their wedding day. Everything we do is designed to help you feel comfortable, supported and fully present, because enjoying each moment is what creates the most meaningful memories and the very best photographs.

Our superpower is our ability to draw out your authentic personalities. We do this through the Jasmine Rose Posing Method.
We begin by getting to know you both, including your personalities, love languages and what helps you feel most comfortable. From there, we thoughtfully plan an experience that feels natural and true to who you are.
On your wedding or session day, we’ll begin with a simple base pose that feels easy for you both. We’ll then introduce movement, connection and emotion, creating space for your unique relationship to shine through in every photograph.

The process

Select your package, pay a deposit, sign your contract and your date is officially reserved.

I will be available for consultation as much as is helpful, and I will put in the effort to get to know both of you so that you can have a customized experience.

If you choose to book an engagement session, it will be the perfect opportunity to practice for your wedding. You'll also have beautiful content for your save the dates and your wedding website.

It’s time to have fun and be present while I do what I do best. I will be there for you every step of the way, cheering you on, hyping you up, and guiding you and your guests where needed.

It’s time to kick back for a night in as you relive every precious moment of your wedding day (don’t forget your tissues). Many years from now, your photos will have only increased in value, becoming heirlooms for you and your family to cherish.

Our approach is best described as laid-back documentary photography with a stylish editorial edge. We photograph with the awareness of photojournalists, anticipating moments as they unfold, while bringing an editorial eye to composition, lighting, posing and colour. We adapt the balance between these styles to suit you, your priorities and the natural rhythm of your wedding day. Our work is inspired by people, travel and fashion.

We require a 50% deposit to secure your date, with the remaining 50% due two weeks before your wedding day. If you need a more flexible payment plan, let us know and we’ll be happy to discuss the options with you.

Your associate photographer will photograph your engagement session, if included, and your wedding day. Jasmine and the wider team remain closely involved throughout the planning process, and Jasmine oversees the editing and delivery so your final gallery is consistent with the Jasmine Rose style. You’ll be in communication with both Jasmine and your associate photographer throughout the process.

A first look can be a beautiful option if you value intimate moments or feel nervous about seeing each other in front of a crowd. It gives you space to take everything in together before joining your family and guests. It can also allow us to complete your couple and family photographs before the ceremony, leaving you with more time to enjoy cocktail hour later.

Absolutely. Our photographers work efficiently, but no one person can be everywhere at once. A second photographer helps us capture more of the moments happening throughout your day and gives you two perspectives of moments that cannot be repeated, such as your first look or walk down the aisle.

We’ll send you a few sneak peeks between one and three days after your wedding. Your full gallery will be delivered within four to six weeks, and engagement photographs are delivered within two weeks of your session.
